Random little music thing I found on Tumblr!

  • 1: favorite band(s)? Shinedown, Apocalyptica, Sabaton, Avenged Sevenfold and Korpiklaani. 
  • 2: favorite solo artist(s)? I really love the songs that Eicca Toppinen and Perttu Kivilaakso did on their own, does that count? If not, then I guess I'd have to say... Gah, I have  no idea. I can't think of anyone. 
  • 3: favorite song at the moment? Lifetime of War - Sabaton :love: 
  • 4: a song you could never get sick of? Bring Them to Light and Not Strong Enough - Apocalyptica. 
  • 5: bands you've seen live? None yet, but I've got Avenged with Device and Five Finger Death Punch, Amon Amarth with Carcass, Hell and Bleed from within and Shinedown with Alter Bridge and Halestorm for later this year! 
  • 6: favorite band member? There's a lot of people I can say really. But, if I have to pic one, I'd pick Brent Smith of Shinedown. He's an amazing man with an amazing voice. He's living proof that, however bad your life may seem, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. He's so inspirational, too. He's overcome; alcoholism, drug addiction, major depression, losing a loved one, going through a tough break-up and he's lost over 70 pounds recently! He's just amazing. He's the nicest person you could ever hope to meet, too. When I see Shinedown in October, I'm gonna get there mega early and stay mega late in hope that I can get to meet him, and tell him just how great he is. 
  • 7: best band live? No clue, I've never been to a concert. I've heard that Rammstien are great live, though.
  • 8: your first favorite artist? Three Days Grace or McFly.... Oh god. My McFly obsession was absolutely horrendous. 
  • 9: ever met a band members? Yeah, there was this tiny little music festival in my town last year. I met all the people from the bands there. They're all unsigned though, and they were all pretty bad! 
  • 10: when did you start actually having good music taste? Imma say around 5 years ago? 
  • 11: artist you secretly like? I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like Robbie William's new album...
  • 12: artist you used to like that you hate now? Ugh.... McFly kinda suck now... 
  • 13: stupidest song you've ever heard? Children of Bodoom's cover of Britney Spears' Oops I did It Again. -_-
  • 14: best song for the morning? Apocalyptica - Fight Fire With Fire. Dear God, that's PHENOMENAL! 
  • 15: best song for doing homework? Shinedown's Diamond Eyes. (Boom-Lay-Boom-Lay-Boom) When you know all the words, that is the most fun song the belt out at the top of your lungs! 
  • 16: best song for romantic moments? Metallica - Mama Said. I've got one of the best memories of my life from this song. 
  • 17: best song for chilling? Depends what mood I'm in. The whole of the Carolous Rex album by Sabaton is pretty good for just chillin'! 
  • 18: song that makes you feel happy? Rauta - Korpiklaani. Go listen to it! It's great! 
  • 19: song that makes you feel sad? Evening Star by TYR. It's got a bit of a deeper meaning for me, so that. 
  • 20: band you can always listen to for cheering up? Shinedown or Korpiklaani. I have no idea why. They make me smile. 
  • 21: opinions on good bands that quickly go mainstream? If they go main stream and then forget about the fans, then they don't deserve the money they get. Apocalyptica were playing to audiences of over 100,000 by their forth show, but they're still 100% all about the fans. They're not money grabbing assholes. I guess it's just how they react to the fame they get. 
  • 22: do you like more adult type music like jazz or classical? Classical music is the chizz. 
  • 23: play any instruments? Negativeo 
  • 24: do you aspire to be in a band? Nah, I don't have the guts to go on stage. I'd love to be, like, a roadie or something, though. 
  • 25: what would you call your band if you had one? Rotting Remains of a Blended Hamster's Carcass. 
  • 26: can you sing? Only in my imagination :giggle@ 
  • 27: ever write any songs? lol no. 
  • 28: most beautiful sounding instrument? Cello. 
  • 29: prefer large or more intimate venues for concerts? Smaller, so you've got more chance of meeting the band. And you won't get raped in the mosh pit. 
  • 30: why you love your favorite band? I have a lot of favourite bands, but Imma go with Shinedown. You might as well see what I wrote about Brent a little above^^^^ because the same thing applies. They're all amazing, inspirational guys. The lyrics are heartfelt and meaningful, and really true to life. Brent has one of the best voices I've ever heard, too. If you've never listened to them before, I'd go check out the song  'What a Shame.' It's so hauntingly beautiful to me. I get chills whenever I listen to it. It tells a story about Brent's uncle, who died during the recording of the album, and how Brent dealt with his death. They're an amazing band. I love them.

Hey everyone!

I don't know if you've noticed, but I've been away for a little while. The last time that I was really online was on March 17th! :legasp:

Anyways, I guess you could say I'm back now. I haven't really got much to say for my absence. I haven't really got anything to show for it, either. I've got some shit that I had to do for my English coursework - I might upload that if I can be bothered - and some photo edits that I did for a friend on Tumblr. I've also started a Shinedown/Avenged Sevenfold story, that for some reason I only uploaded on Wattpad. That'll be up a bit later, too. :meow:

So, yeah. I hope you guys are all doin' good. I've got a L O T of catching up to do with the fanfics I've been reading on here, so, if you've written anything  that you think I might like, please, just comment it here and I'll check it out.

So, My Chemical Romance split up..

For anyone that hasn't heard the news yet, the guys posted it on their website yesterday. (www.mychemicalromance.com)

The post I'm talking about is this one:
Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.

I'm not saying this is a 100% definate thing, but it's in black and white, right there. (lol, literally.)

Any whores,I think tha tis is a bit ridiculous. What reason so they have for splitting up? They've been through so much together, and know they're going to throw it all away? I'm not going to jump into any conclusions, or give them any hate. It must be hard to say good bye to their life's work, I get that, but I think it would make more sence for them to stay together. The only reason that I can think of for them splitting up is that they're all growing up now. Frank, Gerard and Ray are all married, and I think Mikey's engaged? I know he's got a girlfriend,  but you get my point.Gerard and Frank both had children and I've heard a lot of rumours that Ray's wife is pregnant. They're all starting families now, and I guess they just don't have time for all this band stuff.

This is why I love Avenged Sevenfold. They're freaking amazing. They've lost their best friend, lost and gained members, toured the world, taken all the hate in thier stride and therey'res still going strong. You never even hear rumours that they're splitting up. They're all married now, and Matt even has a son. They've got families, and they're not splitting up.

I'm not hating on My Chem, because I'm a fan of theirs.

What do you guys think of all of this? :heart:
